As we await a paving date, more work continues at the track site. Excavation work to remove the ditch near the south will start immediately, followed by further excavation to repair the track for a three-foot widening before the new pavement is laid down.

As soon as the requirements for this grant are fulfilled, the next grant application will be issued for phase II. This phase will expand the track's current configuration to include the adjoining property to the south and into the old remote control airfield. The airfield landing strip and taxi areas will be updated and preserved in hopes of continued use. However, these areas will also be used for the expanded kart track, allowing for several configurations. Thus, it also allows the track to be considered for more extensive race series to compete.
